Local filmmakers Burlee and Abel Vang will be premiering their horror film Bedeviled in Fresno! Saturday, April 28, from 1-5 pm, stop by Betty Rodriguez Regional Library (3040 N. Cedar, Fresno, CA) to see this movie, as it is screened for the public (FREE) for the first time. The filmmakers will be on hand during this event, to talk about their film and the movie making process. The film is rated R and is intended for mature audiences.

Yang is the author of this year's Big Read book, The Latehomecomer. She currently lives in St. Paul, MN, but she travels the world to share her family's story. This event is FREE to the public! Fresno City College and Fresno County Public Library have partnered to bring author Kao Kalia Yang to Fresno! April 12, from 6-8 pm, she will speak at Fresno City College (1101 University Ave, Fresno, CA, 93741). This talk will take place in the Auditorium of the Old Administration Building. Yang is the author of this year's Big Read book, The Latehomecomer. She currently lives in St. Paul, MN, but she travels the world to share her family's story. This event is FREE to the public!
